The 'Ofa ki Tonga newspaper is published monthly in the Tongan Language with a primary focus on christian events both national and international although mostly focused on issue relevant to Tongans.
Rev. Liufau Vailea Saulala, leader of the Tokaikolo Fellowship is the Publisher/Editor of the newspaper with articles published from prominent Tongans from various denominational backgrounds. The Tokaikolo Fellowship is a large organisation but this is the only paper that brings together news from various denominations into a single paper. The paper will often include news from the Seventh Day Adventists, Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga, and the Interschool Christian Fellowship (ISCF) organised by Scripture Union and articles are solicited from prominent leaders from the Catholic Diocese, Free Wesleyan Church as well as from within the Tokaikolo Fellowship.
This newspaper may also be the only Tongan Language newspaper with detailed non-religious articles from specialists regarding topical areas such as agriculture, economics, education philosophy etc. Although some of the topics are difficult to read in the Tongan Language, their mere inclusion prompts a broaden of exposure for native language readers not as conversant in the English language or international trade languages.
