Today, a few monthly magazines continue the tradition of providing more detailed coverage of news articles. Many magazines have been started, and then fallen away, but a few remain and continue to grow

Oceania Broadcasting Corporation is Tonga's longest servingtelevision broadcaster, after the competition folded. As of this writing the A3M broadcaster operates a single channel network. Intentions are to increase the number of broadcast free-to-air stations to 3 x NTSC channels and 2 x PAL channels.
