A3MTV7 is the only television broadcaster in the Kingdom of Tonga and reception can be picked up within the Tongatapu group (including 'Eua.) The broadcaster (Oceania Broadcasting Network, OBN) operates its studios and transmission equipment at Wellington Road, Fasi-Moe-Afi beside the National Reserve Bank, and across from the Australian High Commission.
OBN is a non-profit organisation which currently operates at a loss to broadcast the Christian message on the television airwaves. OBN sources its Christian television programming primarily from US evangelical organisations and these messages are being heavily complemented with local Tonga language programs supplied by the local churches.
The Gospel message is augmented (to create an attractive format) by news broadcasts from CNN, BBC both in English and in Tongan. Movies and sports programs are shown and local current affairs programs have become popular.

A3MTV7 Broadcasts both on NTSC (US Television) and PAL (Australia/NZ Television) which is a major benefit for Tongans who primarily rely on gifted television sets from overseas relatives. NTSC is broadcast on NTSC Channel 7, while PAL is broadcast PAL channel 9.
Live Broadcasts were trialled in April but due to technical (technician) faults, no transmission from the station occurred and Live Broadcasts have been delayed. Likewise delays continue for the proposed Sports/News channel
A3MTV7 is directly managed by the owner Mr. Chris Racine with a local (Tongan) staff managing daily affairs.
