The Roots Children
The Roots Children are originally from a small island far out in the South Pacific Ocean called Tonga, which is about 2,000 miles south of Hawai'i. We moved here to the United States when we were very young, searching for a better education for the future. We don't remember much of our homeland, except for the beautiful sounds of reggae, which the islanders would love to play.
The Roots Children are made up of six people, which are all from one family. We have three talented young men and lovely young ladies. Introducing the young men are Tuli (lead guitar), Kiko (bass guitar, vocal) and Dawn Breaker (drummer, vocal). Introducing the young ladies are Mattie (percussions, vocals), Nancy (keyboards, vocals), and Kelesi (keyboards, vocal).
